Conversations with a Toddler XII

Posted by adam on Friday, June 15th, 2012 | Comments (1)

Today’s Conversations with a Toddler comes from my oldest nephew Barrett (aka Little Bear), who recently turned 5.

On Wednesday, when they were over for a playdate, they were getting ready to leave and I picked him up to give him a hug. I did the standard “Oh my gosh, you’re getting so big and heavy”. That led to a classic line in response:

“Uncle, you need to get stronger now.”

Thanks Little Bear.

Dang. Time to hit the gym. So, let’s see. My daughter is going to be about three times heavier by the time she stops wanting me to pick her up…so I’ve got to figure out how to get three times stronger between now and then. Hello, creatine.
